Buds and blossoms, alongside the ripened fruits, present the cycle of fertility, growth, and the continuity of life. Meanwhile, a colorful migratory bird, in harmony with the colors of nature, brings vitality to the scene and also partakes of this fruit. In the bird’s eyes, a flower shines—the artist’s signature—reflecting a gaze rooted in love and the beauty of nature.

A migratory bird, pausing for a golden taste, captures a moment of gentle harmony between nature and life. There is a tender exchange between the bird and the fruit—between presence and offering. In the bird’s eye, as the artist’s signature style, a blooming flower appears—an eye that sees life with both softness and depth. But the true wonder lies hidden inside one of the fruits: a miniature yet detailed scene of Alanya’s harbor—featuring the Red Tower, the sea, a ship, a lighthouse, distant mountains and buildings, and even a mountain goat standing proudly above the dock. All of this held within a single fruit—like a condensed memory of the beauty of this land. “Passion Fruit Blooming” invites us to see the world—even within the smallest fruit.

"BIRD GUARDIAN Goddess " painted with watercolor on 600 gr watercolor Paper “Bird Guardian Goddess” is the name I gave to this painting. At the heart of the piece, a serene goddess sits upon the body of a majestic Kingfisher, surrounded by three loyal, messenger birds who speak to her in silent song. The lotus symbols on her forehead, her body, and even her earrings, echo the sacred wisdom of ancient Mithraic traditions. The blossoms that flow across her form are not static—they are alive, in motion—because she is the keeper of life itself. Two tiny white birds nestled on her garment further symbolize her divine role. The spiral motif that recurs throughout the painting marks spaces of energy flow, awakening, and portals into the spiritual realm. Tiny fish, emblems of life, swim energetically along the Kingfisher’s back. At the painting’s center, a rotating cycle of fish spins inside a flower—symbolizing the endless wheel of life. Miniature birds take flight among flower, dwelling in peaceful harmony with existence. The inspiration for this piece came from a photo of two vividly colored Kingfishers in nature. At first, I envisioned only the seated goddess and a few birds around her. But as I painted, images emerged on their own. From the feathers of the Kingfisher, shapes of swimming fish began to appear—asking to be seen, to be included. I deepened their presence in bright yellow. Even the miniature figures in the flowers seemed to paint themselves—as if the spirit of the painting was guiding my hand. I was merely the vessel.

"BIRD OF CREATION" painted with watercolor on 600 gr watercolor paper The Bird of Creation is a metaphor for existence itself, carrying on its back the three goddesses of creation—three, a sacred number in many creation myths. These divine figures nurture the flowers of life in their hair, offering shelter to tiny birds among the blossoms. They breathe the spirit of love for existence into the majestic kingfisher, setting the little birds into flight among its radiant feathers. More birds are born between its wings, emerging into life to experience the essence of love and being. The vibrant fish nestled inside the round red fruits represent life—life deeply connected to the origin of existence. Although the kingfisher is traditionally a fish-eating bird, in this painting, it has evolved into a higher, symbolic form. It chooses to feed on fruit instead—a reflection of its love for life. The red fruits, in turn, give their essence back to the bird, creating a cycle of nourishment, love, and continued existence. Interestingly, none of these symbolic details were consciously planned at the beginning. They came into being naturally—when they were ready to emerge. Only after they were expressed through brush and color in my hands did I begin to understand their meaning.

With a heart full of love and a spirit eager to explore, it ascends gently and silently toward the light of understanding. The bird's body is composed of intricate, shimmering layers of color. Each feather is painted with meticulous care, brought to life through radiant, harmonious hues. The underlying layers have been thoughtfully chosen and applied to create shifting reflections across the delicate texture of the feathers. In the floral arc beneath, a soft and ethereal touch emerges. The blossoms are rendered with exquisite lightness and transparency, striking a perfect balance between grandeur and simplicity—between the real and the imagined.

TOWARDS FREEDOM

With its wings spread wide, the bird becomes a messenger of hope and motion, as if soaring in a moment of courage and liberation, leaving darkness behind and reaching toward illumination. Above the circle, delicately inscribed in Persian, are the words “Woman, Life, Freedom” — a slogan that resonated globally during the women’s uprising in Iran in 2022. This painting was created during those very days, when hearts beat to the rhythm of freedom and art became the silent voice of resistance. The vibrant leaves and flowers intertwining in the corner represent life, growth, and diversity — as if nature itself joins the bird in a dance, clearing the way toward light.
